cyberpower of the blogosphere ?
I wonder if all this cyber-wanking and blogger belligerence might not be worth it after all reading this post by Dan Froomkin. Froomkin denounces Bush in no uncertain terms in the cyber pages of www.washingtonpost.com. Let me be clear, the column is fair and as balanced as possible given the astounding abominableness and utter idiocy of our Presedent.
However, I doubt that even the clearly brave and principled Dan Froomkin would have dare write it if fewer than 500 people had objected when Deborah Howell attacked him.
T I believe that the overwhelming (almost) spontaneous solidarity in defence of Mr Froomkin made this totally accurate and to the point column possible. Dan Froomkin might have had the courage to write it in any case, but, without the record of the outpouring of support, it have been his last post.
