What bothers me is that though I dearly admire Juan Cole, I can never quite tell whether he thinks we should simply leave Iraq. I would not change my mind about leaving in the least no matter Cole's argument, but I wonder.Also, even this day I listened as an analyst on public radio spoke of spending $8 billion a month in Iraq when that was in 2005 and we are spending $15.8 a month now. Why the heck not at least get the figure right?anne
