March 2 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama’s economic advisers are increasingly concerned about the U.S. Senate’s delay in confirming the nominations of Austan Goolsbee and Cecilia Rouse to the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

I remember when Ceci Rouse spent a year or so in Senegal and came back with a phrase that was much used by Harvard economics PhD candidates wondering if they would ever get the 3 letters after their name.

It means "slowly one catches the monkey in the bush." and means if you try and try you'll succeed at last.
