The Founding Fathers and Twitter

The founding fathers never imagined twitter (I am not suggesting that if they had, they might have been more careful with that whole first amendment thing if they had).

@billmaher

Is it treason to purposefully block any help for the economy so voters blame the president and turn to the other party? Just asking.

No

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort"

US Constitution.

Just answering.

Does anyone actually read the constitution ? For those hep dudes who are with it I suggest a google of "US Constitution" then click the second hit not wikipedia. Yes the text of the US Constitution comes after the Wikipedia article.

We had a Republic, couldn't keep it and have an e-public.

On the other hand, I wish I'd written

Under which of the enumerated powers of the Congress may it impose criminal sanctions on physicians for the otherwise lawful practice of medicine based on the intentions of their patients?

Anyone who claims that the individual mandate is unconstitutional but a Congressional ban on sex-selective abortion is constitutional must be either a fool or a con artist.

I wish knaves just wrapped themselves in the flag and left the Constitution alone.
