The two posts below seem to have nothing in common, but they are just further reflections on this post.
I like that post. My only regret is that there aren't enough typos and spelling errors in it for peak irony.
I think I should have entitled it
"The Eloquense of Trotsky and Macaulay" or, well, see above.
I am totally unashamed of my spelling.
