The Three

The DOJ is very eager to keep the names of the three US attorneys who managed to save their jobs right around election day private

Under an earlier agreement between Congress and the department, congressional aides are allowed to examine the uncensored documents but not to make copies or to take any notes.

The redactions were related to the U.S. attorneys who were "considered for possible replacement but not asked to resign," Richard A. Hertling, acting assistant attorney general, wrote to Leahy last week.

I have thought for a while that the justice committee should demand information on the three .

I'd like to know how exactly they managed to keep their jobs. It wouldn't be that unlike Iglesias they used their offices to help Republican candidates ?
