Clarke part XLII

I have noted the furious debate within the Bush administration about what exactly is wrong in "Against all Enemies".

I should note that the book itself contains surprising agreement.

Bush and Gore agree, international law is a pain in the ass

Bush p 24 "I don't care what the international lawyers say, we are going to kick some ass"

Gore p 144 "That's a no-brainer. Of course it's a violation of international law, that's why it's a covert action. The guy is a terrorist. Go grab his ass."

Now that I think of it, in "Against All Enemies" they seem equally to prefer "ass" to "international law" and to prefer commas to semi colons.
