Looks like we have a live one -- an honest Republican.
Paul Krugman notesAt a recent town-hall meeting in suburban Simpsonville, a man stood up and told Rep. Robert Inglis (R-S.C.) to “keep your government hands off my Medicare.”
“I had to politely explain that, ‘Actually, sir, your health care is being provided by the government,’ ” Inglis recalled. “But he wasn’t having any of it.”
I ask you how many Republican congressmen would admit (let alone insist) that Medicare is a government program ?

As the Atlantic's Jeffrey Rosenberg said, people on the American left--like J Street--seek to preserve the Democratic character of Israel and the Jewish character of Israel. Others, like Alan Dershowitz, do not.
[Having been critical of Brad DeLong, I still know when to applaud loudly.]
