Damning with Faint Praise

Former senator Robert Kerrey endorsed Clinton but offered Barak Obama some distinctly dubious praise such as

"He's got a whale of a lot more intellectual talent than I've got as well."

Coming from the guy who mistook Condoleeza Rice for Richard Clarke, that is a whale of an understatement.
