Seems back in the day there were station teams and they developed a camaraderie that took a lot of the repetitious tedium away. They had some part of a minute to do their tasks and had a bit of time between tasks. They filled the time with talk, jokes, tales about family and friends and the next hunting season. Of course this was back in the day when the pay allowed one worker to support a family, buy a house and send the kids to college.
